On Monday 2 November 2015, Campsie RSL lodged the Planning Proposal to Canterbury City Council for the redevelopment of the new Campsie RSL.
This follows a period of extensive planning and community consultation, in which community feedback was provided regarding three proposed masterplans, ultimately helping to shape the preferred redevelopment plan.
The redevelopment proposes an expanded club facility, high rise residential apartments and seniors living, specialty shops, a medical centre, childcare facility and fitness centre, as well as basement car parking.
ampsie RSL is committed to delivering a new club precinct that will benefit the lives of community’s members and following careful and lengthy planning, review and community consultation, Campsie RSL are confident that it will deliver just that.
The lodgement of the Planning Proposal marks an exciting next step in the development process and the club are excited to be moving forward with a project that seeks to benefit people of all ages and interests.
Campsie RSL are grateful to everyone who provided feedback and input during the initial planning phase and will continue to keep members, guests and the broader community updated with the progress of the redevelopment and Planning Proposal.
